FAQ – Frequently asked questions
Question 1: Can I tint the front windows of my car?
No. The front side windows must have a light transmission of at least 70%.
Most modern cars already have factory tinting of around 30% (when you open the window, the view through it is slightly darker).
Applying any additional film – even a clear one – exceeds the permitted limit.
Question 2: What are the permitted standards for window tinting?
The windscreen must let through at least 75% of light, and the front side windows – 70%.
The remaining windows (those 180 degrees away from the driver's field of view) can be tinted as much as you like – even covered completely.
Question 3: Can the film get scratched in everyday use?
No. The films we offer have a special Anti-Scratch protective layer that guards against scratches.
Question 4: Does the film affect the operation of the rear window heating?
No, the film has no effect on how the rear window heating works
Question 5: Which side is the window tint film fitted on?
The film is always installed on the inside of the glass. We shape it from the outside and then, after removing the protective layer, stick it on from the inside.
